1015/07- Greetings everyone! Sorry for the long wait until an update, but here it is. The winner of the last poll, titled "Which sea creature is the best?", was Liopleurodon with 50% of the votes.
Recently on the forum, member "Thetyrantlizard" came across an interesting eBay auction. It was for a set of baby dinos from Walking with Dinosaurs (pictured below). It is not a bootleg, as it was released by Toyway. Toyway is the company that produced the various toys for Walking with Dinosaurs. 05/30/07- Hi everybody, how goes it? The winner of the last poll, asking "Which carnivorous dinosaur is the most popular?", went to Tyrannosaurus-Rex with 53% of the votes. In todays news, a new booked titled "Sea Monsters: Prehistoric Creatures of the Deep" will be released October 2007. The author of this promising book is Mike Everhart. In conjunction with this book, National Geographic will be premiering a film in October about sea monsters! It will be released to IMAX theaters, so what more can you ask for? A deep sea adventure filled with prehistoric sea monsters on an IMAX screen and a book to go with it. Thanks to forum member "Thetyrantlizard" for brining this news to my attention. 04/27/07- Hello everyone, sorry about the long wait until an update came around! To start things off, it seems the Papo Spinosaurus may not be available until September 2007. We will keep our eyes open and scan the web for info on this, and hopefully get a release date that is 100% correct.
The last poll came down to a tie, between the Papo Parasaurolophus and Kenner The Lost World Parasaurolophus. This new poll is asking which popular carnivorous dinosaur is the most popular? You have some excellent choices, please vote wisely!
Update 06/17/07: The Papo Spinosaurus is now available on eBay and Link and Pin Hobbies, and Tgftoys. These are the only three sites that have the Spinosaurus at the moment.

01/24/07- Hi everyone! The winner of the last poll was "The Lost World Allosaurus", released by Kenner. Today I am pleased to announce that Papo will be releasing a Spinosaurus toy (see picture below)! This guy looks like he is right out of Jurassic Park 3! It should be available May 2007.
The new poll asks "Which Parasaurolophus figure was the best?". Parasaurolophus was 33 feet long, 16 feet tall, and weighed 3500 kg. This duckbill was one of the most beautiful Dinosaurs, and we will see which Parasaurolophus figure comes out on top!

12/19/06- Happy holidays from Dinoworld! I hope there are lots of Dinosaurs beneath your tree this Christmas. There was a tie in the last poll, "Which Sauropod was the best?". The tie was between Apatosaurus and Diplodocus. Today there is a new poll to take part in. It asks, "Which Allosaur figure is the best?". Different companies have released figures of this Jurassic predator, but which one is the better one. The poll shall answer that!

11/24/06- Hi, how are ya? There was a tie in the last poll, "Which Spinosaurus Figure Was the Best?", the winners being the JP/// Animotronic Spinosaurus, and the Dino Valley Spinosaur. Sauropods were spectacular Dinosaurs, with long necks that could get leaves off the highest trees. Some had tails like whips, which could knock a 40 foot long predator over with one swipe. There were a variety of them. In todays poll, the question is asking which Sauropod was the best? Not which Sauropod figure, but which Sauropod was the best. You have some good choices, and if none of them are what you are looking for, you can vote "Other".

10/22/06- Welcome everyone, to Dinoworld! You are probably saying "What happened to Toying Around?!???". Well, since Dinosaurs seemed to be the main thing we talked about on the forum, I decided Toying Around becomes Dinoworld! So in the days to come different changes will come to Toying Around?!. The forum will stay pretty well the same, with a few new boards added. I hope you will like it when I am done!
